What this covers

This policy covers whoisoperator.com (the "Site"), run by Jonah Pirnazar under the name Operator. It explains what personal information the Site collects, why, and who it's shared with.

Information we collect

• Contact and booking forms. Your name, email, and whatever you write in the message or event details.
• Newsletter. Your email address, if you sign up.
• Free downloads. Your email address, and - where a track asks for it - confirmation that you followed/liked/commented on SoundCloud.
• HQ accounts. Your email address and any label you set on the account.
• Purchases. Handled entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded and basic order details - never your full card number.
• Everyone, automatically. IP address and browser user-agent, used only to rate-limit abuse and log download activity - never sold or used to build an advertising profile.

Cookies

The Site sets three first-party cookies, all httpOnly and used only to keep you signed in: one for an admin session, one for an HQ account session, and one for edit mode. None of them track you across other sites, and the Site runs no third-party analytics or ad-tracking scripts. A theme preference (light / dark / etc.) is stored locally in your browser and never sent to a server.

How we use it

To deliver what you asked for - a download link, a purchased file, a reply to a booking or press inquiry - to run the newsletter, to operate HQ accounts, and to keep the Site secure against abuse.

Who we share it with

The vendors that run the Site's infrastructure, each processing data only to provide their service to us:

• Supabase - database
• Cloudflare R2 - audio, artwork, and download file storage
• Resend - transactional email (download links, login links)
• Stripe - payment processing
• Vercel - hosting

We don't sell your information, and don't share it beyond this list.

Retention

Kept for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected for. To request access to or deletion of your data, contact us - see below.

Children

The Site isn't directed at anyone under 13, and doesn't knowingly collect information from them.
